작가노트

내가 살고 있는 곳은 뚜렷한 목적으로 설계되어 매립된 신도시 이다. 자연스레 이곳의 풍경은 도시계획에 의해 인공물과 자연물이 조화를 이루며 익숙한 풍경으로 다가온다. 하지만 종종 계획된 조화에서 벗어나 이탈된 것들과 마주할때 낯설음을 느꼈다.

나는 이러한 경험이 인공과 자연의 접점 영역에서 상호 간 침투하며 야기된 경계의 모호성에 의한 것으로 판단했다. 하여 이탈된 오브제와 풍경을 기록하는 동시에 인위적인 조작을 가해 가상의 이탈을 재현하고자 하였다.

The place where I live in is the new city that has been planned and reclaimed with its definite goal. Naturally, the scenery of this city is familiar, as a result of the harmonization with the artifacts and organic structures, which both have been set by the city planning. However, I always felt unusual when I sometimes happened to encounter the deviated elements from the devised harmony.

I considered that this odd experience is caused by the ambiguity on the horizon, which the latter has been mutually permeated and caused by the contact point of the artificiality and nature. Thus, I intended to record the scenery and deviated objet, and simultaneously, represent the virtual deviation by supplementing an artificial manipulation.
